March 2022 Publications

I’ve had a bunch of publications in March, and all of them are smaller pieces!

“The Fall of Ocrone” was published in Martian last year, but recently, the Superfast Stories YouTube Channel produced an audio and video version of my story! It’s a quick sci-fi listen/watch (it’s only 100 words), and I love how it all came together. And yes, that is me reading it!

Friday Jones’ Helpful Advice for Preventing Your Super-Genius Roommate from Becoming a Supervillain,” which appeared in Avatar of Freya, was also podcast at Manawaker Flash Fiction Podcast. This is the longest of my March publications, and it still clocks in under 1,000 words. It’s a superhero story, though it’s much less about action and much more about exactly what the title says.

My poem, “Elemental Crisis” appeared in the Extinction Notice anthology (print / ebook), which was just published toward the end of March. I haven’t had a chance to read all of the anthology yet, but there’s a nice mix of short and long stories, plus some poetry like mine, all on the subject of climate change!

Finally, “Win-Win Situation,” another 100-word drabble, appeared in Punk: Cyber / Bio / Diesel / Steam Punk Tiny Tales from Black Hare Press. It’s a tiny cyberpunk story, painted in shades of what is not said as much as what is said.
