“Fire Bad” in Intercity Illusions

The story “Fire Bad” in Intercity Illusions is one of my stories told from the perspective of an animal–in this case, a cat. It also shares a similarity with another of my stories, in that it espouses the idea that perhaps cats were once dragons.

“Fire Bad” is a very short flash fiction piece, fairly simple in its story, but also relatable to people who have had cats, especially if you’ve had cats with unusual names thanks to small children in your life. Like the other stories in Intercity Illusions, it has a modern setting that’s also quite relatable.
