January 2022 Writing Prompts

St. Charles, MO, REALLY loves Lewis and Clark

Tomorrow begins a new year, which is also a great time to take on a new writing challenge!

This month, I’ve got some words derived from a couple of non-thematic lists I found, mixed in with some totally random words. So you may discern some themes from day to day, but hopefully the inclusion of random words will help to spark interesting and exciting ideas.

As always, feel free to interpret the words as you see fit, leave out words that don’t work for you, or just see what the combination of words might inspire that has nothing to do with the words themselves!

Check back on the last Friday of each month (or occasionally the first day of a new month, when that falls on a Friday) for my History That Never Was writing prompts!
