“The Cobbler’s Daughter” in Denizens of Distant Realms

The concept behind “The Cobbler’s Daughter” started with the idea of magical shoes, of the sort you see in fairy tales. But I wanted to write a story about magical shoes that hadn’t been told before, and a story of two characters falling in love over a span of years. And thus, “The Cobbler’s Daughter” was born. There are elements of other fairy tales tucked within this story, but as far as I know, the actual story doesn’t mimic that of any existing fairy tale.

If you like new takes on fairy tale-like stories, check out “The Cobbler’s Daughter” and five other stories inĀ Denizens of Distant Realms. You can get it in ebook or physical formats. (And if you would really like to buy a physical book but don’t want to wait for Amazon to ship it, I have copies on hand and can sign and ship books!)
