What I’m Reading, Watching, and Listening To: December 2019 Edition

Clip art of headphones, TV screen, and cat reading a sheet of paperReading: A book to review, and a couple of comics here and there. I finally read the first trade paperback of Doctor Aphra and promptly requested MOAR! Aside from that, though I haven’t read much lately. I had to return the library copy of Chilling Effect, so I bought that for my Kindle (since I was enjoying it), but I haven’t had time to read any more of it since then!

Watching: We’ve shifted over to watching season 2 of She-Ra, which we both adore. And I finally watched the Cowboy Bebop movie last week … so now we can continue on with the series, because the movie falls in the middle or something? Anyway, the movie was okay, plenty of Ed for me to enjoy, and Ein seemed even smarter than on the show!

Listening To: No new K-pop album drops (or “comebacks,” as they call them) lately, but Monsta X has a new English song, “Middle of the Night,” out. Fair warning, it’s CATCHY. You may find yourself humming or singing it after just a couple of listens. I also turned on my old iPod (yeah, the kind with a click-wheel, which I bought in … 2005?) recently, in preparation for a 1990s game I want to run, and I discovered that I have no sense of when music was released. Most of the songs I thought were 1990s songs were, in fact, 2000s songs.
