Leaving Book Reviews

Indie authors and traditional authors alike get a lot of benefit out of people leaving reviews of their books on Amazon, Goodreads, or other book selling sites. On Amazon, in particular, once a book has a certain number of reviews, it’s more likely to be recommended to shoppers.

Leaving a book review doesn’t have to be a difficult process, either. Just saying “I loved it” or “I liked it a lot” can be sufficient. You can, of course, go into more detail if you prefer, but you don’t need to write a lengthy review to convey your enjoyment of the book!

So if you’ve been thinking about leaving a book review for a book you loved, this is your reminder to go do it! The author whose book you review will thank you for it!
