Bookstagramming?

Stacks of books

I was recently talking with another author about Bookstagramming, which neither of us had heard of. I did a little bit of research and found this article, which suggests that it’s a thing that I already do sometimes: take a picture of what I’m reading and post to Instagram about it. It’s apparently not as commonly done with graphic novels (which is what I use it for), but with more traditional novels. However, I’m going to keep on doing it with my graphic novels, because they are one of the few things I read on paper, and taking pictures of my Kindle for Instagram seems silly to me.

Whether you’re Bookstagramming photos of your own books or of the books you’re reading, the idea is basically the same: make the books look good. And tag them with #bookstagram so others can find your posts!
