As part of the lead up to the publication of In Situ, Dagan Books has been publishing interviews with the authors of the stories. My interview is up here.
My story for this anthology is in the form of a nineteenth century archaeologist’s field notes/journal. The protagonist, Doctor Taggart, finds a little more than he bargained for during an archaeological dig, especially after he starts experimenting with the artifact he finds.
I’m really excited to see this book come out, because a good chunk of my co-workers are archaeologists. I’ve promised them a copy of the book will go into the office “fun” library, which is where we drop off books we’ve read that we want to share.
